UF Gatorade Margarita Recipe
It's only fitting that the cocktail to celebrate the University of Florida Gators includes Gatorade—the school invented the drink, after all.
- salt (for rim of glass)
- 1 handful of ice
- 3 oz tequila
- 3 oz lime juice
- 8 oz blue Gatorade (or orange)
- Dampen the rim of the glass and roll in salt. Fill glass with ice.
- Mix tequila, lime juice and Gatorage. Pour into glass.
LSU Spiked Blueberry Lemonade Recipe
There's no better way to celebrate Royal Purple and Old Gold than with a coordinating cocktail, right? Okay, a win would be nice too.
- 2 oz vodka
- 1 handful of blueberries
- 1 pinch sugar
- 12 oz lemonade
- Add the vodka, blueberries and sugar to the bottom of the glass and use a spoon to muddle (or mash) everything just until the sugar has dissolved and the blueberries are broken up.
- Add ice and lemonade, stir to mix in the vodka-soaked blueberries.
The Yellowhammer Slammer Cocktail Recipe
We're paying homage to the Yellowhammer, the cocktail so popular that Tuscaloosa bar Gallette's sells 4,000-5,000 at every University of Alabama home game (and they go through even more during big rivalries, like Tennessee, Auburn and LSU). This large drink is potent, so take your time drinking this one, and let it last all tailgate long.
- 2 oz vodka
- 2 oz rum
- 1 oz amaretto
- 4 oz orange juice
- 7 oz pineapple juice
- 1 handful of ice
- Mix vodka, run, Amaretto, orange juice and pineapple juice.
- Serve in a 20-ounce cup over ice.
Auburn "War Eagle" Rum Punch Recipe

- 4 oz rum
- 6 oz orange juice
- 1 handful ice
- 4 oz Sprite
- Mix rum and orange juice in a cocktail shaker. Pour into a large glass filled with ice.
- Top with Sprite before serving.
